QUESTION OF THE DAY: If it were possible to clone a same-age version of yourself, do you think the two of you would be friends? Do you think you'd enjoy each other's company or find the similar point of view boring?
The closest thing I have to this is my brother DB; while we do frequently disagree due to our differing viewpoints, when we agree on something our discussions eventually boil down to "Look at how right I am!" "I know, right?! Youre so right!" because we both have an ego the size of a small planet.
In that respect, a clone who shared my viewpoint could never be considered "boring." It'd be a series of getting the same in-jokes, loving the same movies and celebrities and agreeing with each other and that never gets old.
But then of course then you have to take in my volcanic temper and penchant for holding a grudge. Im the sort of person that is irritated easily but doesn't say when Im angry; I hold it in, and in, and in, until rather like a volcano I reach my limit and erupt all over someone. And while I am not easily offended, once I feel I HAVE been offended I'm likely to remember it FOREVER. AND EVER. People in Utopia know the breadth of my loathing for certain people, the grudge is going on still.
Its not an admirable quality by any means, I know. But it would be present in a clone, and god help her (and me) if we piss each other off. xB
